At the AI FutureTech Trail Challenge, our computing students completed six hands-on challenges across education, robotics, agriculture, cybersecurity, psychology, and game development.

They also produced short videos demonstrating real-world AI applications, combining technical knowledge with creativity and communication.

APU Secures MCMC Research Grants to Advance Malaysia’s Digital Society

APU has secured two MCMC research grants worth RM20,000 to advance Malaysia’s digital society! 🥳🙌

The government-funded projects will evaluate the impact of Internet safety education for children and examine fairer pricing and better protection for gig delivery workers. The findings will support evidence-based policies that promote a safer, more inclusive, and sustainable digital ecosystem.

APU welcomed Dr Muslim Jameel from Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Ireland, for an official academic visit, marking the beginning of a new international collaboration between the two universities. 🤝

The visit focused on opportunities for student and staff mobility, joint research, digital education, and industry-focused learning across areas including AI, Computing, Cybersecurity, Business, Tourism, and Hospitality.

The collaboration will create more opportunities for knowledge exchange and global learning for both students and academics.
