Parking Just Got Smarter! Introducing APSPark @ APU

Dear Students,

Great news for those who drive to campus! We’re excited to introduce APSPark, APU’s new License Plate Recognition (LPR) parking system designed to make your daily commute faster, smoother, and  hassle‑free. APSPark will go live in two phases:

  • Zone B (Open Space Parking) — 2nd  March 2026
  • Zone A (Covered Parking) — 9th  March 2026

 What’s New with APSPark?

APSPark uses License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology to automatically detect your vehicle at the entrance and exit. This means faster and seamless entry and exit with payments deducted directly from your Online APCard Balance.

 What You Need to Do

Only Registered Vehicles will be allowed to enter LPR-enabled areas. As such, you must register your vehicle before you enter the Car Park, using the steps below:

  • Option 1:
Open APSpace → Search APSpark → Register your vehicle plate
  • Option 2:
Scan the QR code below → Register your vehicle plate

*  Please log in with your APKey if prompted.

🔔 Quick Reminders

  • Only one active vehicle is allowed per student, for now. The registered number can be changed anytime before you enter the Car Park.
  • Vehicle details cannot be edited while the vehicle is inside the car park
  • Please make sure your vehicle plate number complies with JPJ specifications, or they may not be recognised by the LPR System.

💳 Easy Online Top-Up (No More Card Tapping!)

To make things even more convenient:

  • Parking fees will be deducted directly from your online APCard balance (not your Physical APCard)
  • You can top up your Online APCard balance anytime via APSpace
  • No tapping or syncing of your physical APCard is required in Zone B Parking. (This feature also will be made available to zone A   after 9th  March 2026)

🔔 Important:

  • Ensure that your online APCard balance is sufficient before exiting the car park

We look forward to bringing you a faster, smarter, and more convenient parking experience at APU.
