Seven of our researchers have secured 11 industry grants and 1 international grant, marking another step forward in APU’s growing research capabilities. 🙌

The grants, secured from industry and international partners including Daikin, MCMC, Vitrox, Kitasato University, Japan and more, will support research across multiple disciplines and create opportunities for stronger industry-academia collaboration.

Recently, APU students embarked on the Career Exploration Programme (CEP) Penang 2026; gaining valuable insights into industry practices and career pathways, while experiencing Penang’s rich cultural heritage. 🏙️

Through visits to MKS Instruments and SanDisk, students explored real-world business operations, workplace practices, and diverse career opportunities across the industry. 💼

Beyond professional exposure, students also immersed themselves in Penang’s local culture, cuisine, and iconic attractions; creating meaningful experiences beyond the classroom. ✨

By connecting industry exposure with cultural exploration, CEP Penang 2026 broadened students’ perspectives, while strengthening their career readiness, personal growth, and appreciation of diverse experiences.
