Through discipline, resilience, and months of dedicated training, our athletes rose to the challenge and proudly represented APU against strong competitors from across the region.

Team roticanai_better, made up of students from APU, UNITEN, and UniKL, secured an impressive 2nd place at the Eschaton CTF 2026 Finals in Kochi, India! 😍🥈

After competing against 346 teams from 24 countries in the qualifiers, the team advanced to the global finals and showcased outstanding cyber security skills, teamwork, and resilience in the intense Attack & Defence CTF competition. 👏

Recently, APU students participated in a series of community engagement initiatives through APU Community Engagement (ACE), supporting meaningful causes through outreach work, food aid distribution, and animal welfare activities. 🥹🤝

From supporting elderly residents and B40 communities to participating in animal welfare initiatives, students experienced the value of giving back through meaningful action. ❤️

Beyond that, these experiences also provided opportunities for students to develop empathy, leadership, and social awareness; values that extend beyond the classroom.

The first cohort has successfully graduated from the Professional Certificate in Hospitality Supervision Programme, a collaboration between APU’s School of Global Hospitality and Tourism (SoGHT) and Asianhotelier.Org. 🎓👏

Bringing together industry-led training and academic certification, the programme was designed to strengthen leadership, operational, and supervisory skills across the hospitality industry. 🎉

What started as a final-year project at APU is now an internationally recognised innovation! 🤩👏 🏆

APU students Sin Jun Yan and Chin Kah Min earned a Gold Medal at the EUREKA International Brussels Invention and Innovation Contest 2026 for developing an AI-powered industrial inspection rover designed to operate in hazardous environments too dangerous for humans.

Built under APU’s Centre of Excellence for Research and Development of Drone and IoT (CREDIT), the rover combines AI, robotics, and smart sensing technology to help industries improve safety, reduce risks, and support more sustainable operations. 😍

But beyond the award, what makes this achievement even more meaningful is the culture behind it.

The students are now mentoring younger engineers at CREDIT, passing down the knowledge and experience needed to continue improving the technology for future generations. 💙
