Dear Students

To provide enhanced  wireless performance, we are pleased to announce  that the Technology Services  has completed the wireless upgrade exercise to  replace the previous  BYOD@APU and Roam@APU networks  with a single Network Id called OnBoard@APU. After your device is successfully enrolled to   OnBoard@APU, a new SSID called Student@APU 2.0 will be visible on  your device and it  should be automatically connected. Pease ensure that your devices are connected to Student@APU 2.0 to continue connecting to the internet.

To ensure a smooth transition to the new upgraded wireless infrastructure, all wireless users are strongly advised to enroll  to the OnBoard@APU from home or anywhere via the Internet  by registering your Wi-Fi-Enabled-Devices at https://cloudpath.apiit.edu.my . Successfully enrolled devices will be ready to connect to the Student@APU 2.0 wireless network when you are on campus.

Students who previously used the wireless@APU to connect will still be able to continue using this temporarily until further notice but this will  only be valid  up to 4 hours for each successful login.
Onboard Enrollment System

The OnBoard@APU is seamless, easy to use, secure and works with all major OS platforms and devices. You just need to connect to the OnBoard@APU SSID and it  will guide you through a simple and straightforward process of connecting to OnBoard@APU as shown in the video to enjoy the  following features:
  • High-Speed Wireless Internet bandwidth up to 100Mbps for every devices
  • 1000Mbps wireless LAN connection speed
  • Encrypt data in transit over the air between devices and wireless access points which make it almost impossible to hack on the campus wireless network.
  • Empower you to securely self-provision your devices for network access up to 4 devices —without requiring IT staff intervention
  • Secure every connection for your devices   with WPA2-Enterprise
  • Perform up-front security posture check with remediation during network onboarding
  • Improve network security by using digital certificates for authentication
  • Enhance network security through integration with next generation firewall and mobile device manage management products 
You can also enroll onto the Onboard @ APU network by scanning the QR code below. If you require any further assistance, you may walk-in to the TechCenter at level 6 opposite Block D entrance during office hours.

The Enrollment Portal will allow you to also remove devices and enroll new devices any time in the future,
