Maybank: Opening of Bank Account Service Booth

Dear Students,

To make your bank account opening needs more convenient, we have arranged for Maybank Bandar Kinrara Branch opening booth on APU campus. This will allow you to open a bank account without the hassle of leaving the university grounds.

Details:
• Location : Level 3 (near Student Services)
• Dates : 17 & 24 September 2025
• Time : 10:00am – 2:30pm

Please find the Steps as below and bring the necessary documents information below:

Step 1 : Documents required for Maybank (MBB) Account Opening:
Documents required: Biodata form/IC (Local Student) or copy of passport (International Student) /valid visa/letter from APU, please obtain the letter from Student Services @ Level 3). Student is required to submit the required documents in advance to MBB staff for relevant checking via email to: Ms. Norkhairani Binti Md Khairi at norkhairani@maybank.com

Step 2: Upon completing Step 1, Maybank Kinrara Team will be coming to APU to set up a booth on the following dates:
17 & 24 September 2025
o MBB will proceed to APU campus to open the account for all the students with M2u (online banking) after receiving students’ documentation.
o Upon complete the account opening, MBB will activate the account
o MBB will be coming to visit all the students to sign the account activation documents

For ATM card:
Student can apply via M2U after the account activated and the card will be delivered to mailing address within 2 weeks’ time or student can go to Maybank Pavilion or any Maybank branches to get the card (ATM processing time is only 5 to 10 mins)

The library would like to update all staff and students that the following materials are available in the library website as official guidelines on the application of APA referencing style in academic writing.

We are also pleased to inform that the library offers APA Referencing workshops and one-to-one or group consultation sessions by appointment to assist with any further questions about citation and referencing using APA. You may contact us by submitting your request for your preferred sessions through the Library – Virtual Help Centre.

What will my Academic Mentor do for me?

  • Your Academic Mentor will guide, assist and motivate you in your academic and professional development.
  • S/he will provide you with general academic support and advice and refer you to student support services and operational support services if needed.
  • S/he will contact you if you are not making satisfactory progress in your studies or if your attendance is poor.
  • S/he will link you to other academic staff, including the Programme Leader and Head of School if appropriate.
  • S/he will be your Internship Supervisor.
  • S/he will provide you with advice as you plan for professional employment.
